Local Use of ESSER Funds

 

Kalida Local Schools Utilized ESSER funds for the following purposes in the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years:

Local Use for Funds Plan.

• Payroll protection for loss of cafeteria revenue during Spring '20 remote learning.
• Summer intervention salaries and transportation costs to recover learning loss. 
• Classroom reduction salaries to address learning loss in targeted grade level by reducing student-teacher ratio from 20-1 to 15-1 for the 2021-2022 school year.
• Technology equipment for remote instruction.
• Supplies for safety and sanitation purposes.
• Personal protection equipment for students and staff.
