The Kalida Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization was established this year in an effort to enhance and maximize the education of every student, while providing financial assistance to the teachers in their classrooms. It is our hope that this group can offer assistance and support for the teachers, and work together to have the best possible learning environment for our children. To do this, we need your help! There are many volunteer opportunities, from providing snacks for teachers and the kids to helping with our fundraising efforts. A big part of our activities this year focus on raising money so that we may do some fun activities, sponsor educational events and be a resource for parents and teachers. We are pleased to announce that we will be participating in the popular Scrips program. This program is the fundraising program that works while you shop! The beauty of Scrips is that you earn money for our school-and teachers-without spending a single additional penny! Forms are available in the elementary office or click on the link below to print out the form, complete and return the completed form to school. The first SCRIP card order for the year will be placed on November 9, 2012. Additional orders will be placed on December 3, December 14, for delivery by Christmas and on March 18, 2013 for delivery by Easter. The orders will be available in the Elementary Office about a week after the orders are placed.
