Wildcat Mini Cheer Camp June 19
Kalida Wildcats Mini Cheer Camp
When: June 19th – 22nd from 4:30pm–6:30pm at St. Michael’s Gymnasium
Participants: Girls from AGE 3 through GRADE 6
Instructors: 2012-2013 KHS Varsity & Reserve Cheerleaders with KJHS cheerleader assistants
Cost: The cost is $40.00 per participant.
Each participant will receive a t-shirt as part of the camp cost if submitted by Friday, June 8th. Late registrations will be accepted, however, a t-shirt cannot be guaranteed with a late registration. Participants may pack a light snack & drink each day.
Material: The participants will be learning several chants, cheers and a group dance routine throughout the days they attend cheer camp. The campers will be learning motion technique and the proper approaches to jumps. Campers can look forward to playing cheer games & making spirit signs. Our goal is to have fun while instructing future cheerleaders on the fundamentals of this sport.
Camper’s Performance: There will be a special program held on Friday, June 22nd, at 6:00pm at St. Michael’s gymnasium. Special awards will be presented at this time, along with a show from the campers. The show will include material the participants learned during camp. Parents, family and friends are welcome to attend. Additional Mini Campers’ performance dates are yet to be determined. One date would be a home Varsity basketball game halftime show. Campers will be contacted about performance date & refresher practice through the mail.
